Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Daine DuPree is a photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in Chicago shaped who Daine is and her entire perspective on life. The vibrant cityscape, diverse neighborhoods, and rich cultural heritage provided endless inspiration for Daine’s early passion for photography.

However, when she made moved to New York, she was consumed by the fast-paced lifestyle and bustling art scene. As a result her camera gathered dust, and her love for capturing moments seemed to have paused indefinitely.

It wasn't until she bought a new camera and did a photo walk alongside other black artists that she rediscovered her passion for photography. Rediscovering photography in the streets of New York has been a transformative journey, allowing Daine to merge her love for storytelling with a newfound appreciation for the city's unique energy and character.
